Bio-Rad Laboratories Inc., a multinational manufacturer and distributor of life science research and clinical diagnostics products, announced that it has completed the purchase of certain assets of SafePath Laboratories LLC's food and animal health diagnostics business.
Assets included in the purchase are SafePath's high performance serological immunoassay test kits for Trichinella, Toxoplasma, and Salmonella pathogens.
"We are excited to be able to offer SafePath's unique pathogen test products," said Brad Crutchfield, Bio-Rad vice president and life science manager. "With these new products we are realizing our goal to be a one-stop shop for our customer's food safety testing needs."
