Foodmate US has launched a new value-added service, the Foodmate Academy, at its recently opened Inspirience Center.

Led by instructor Paul Breure, the training and classroom center provides training for customers on new and existing Foodmate products. Instead of training new employees at their plant and possibly interfering with or slowing production, employees can come to the Foodmate US headquarters to learn how to operate and maintain Foodmate equipment.

“This offsite training offers customers a unique opportunity to see the equipment operate in a controlled environment with their specific chicken products,” Foodmate US President Scott Hazenbroek said. “In addition, the experience allows operators and maintenance personnel to focus on the hands-on practical instruction without work schedule disruption.”

By sending their key employees to the Foodmate Academy classes for training, customers have the opportunity to increase performance and achieve optimal yield with the highest quality from the start, Hazenbroek said. Training can also be arranged for recent installations, assisting with post-sales transition and ensuring ultimate return on investment.

The 50-foot-by-80-foot training center, which opened earlier this year, is set up like an actual processing facility with an OPTI LTD Dark Meat Deboning System, including OPTI Thigh Deboner and Drum Deboner. The center also houses a Flex Cut-Up System, Vision Grading, Weighing and all cut-up modules.
