Johannes Ten Elsen, 83, founder of Specht Ten Elsen, died October 8, 2015, in the Netherlands while visiting one of his oldest clients.

Ten Elsen was born in Labbeck, Germany, on December 3, 1931. In 1961, he set up his own business manufacturing poultry and pig buildings and equipment. He traveled around the world showcasing the company’s products.

Ten Elsen is survived by his wife, Paula, and four children, Hans-Theo Ten Elsen, Wilfried Ten Elsen, Michael Ten Elsen and Angela Galonska-Fingas. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elisabeth Ten Elsen.
