Anitox has appointed Loretta Hunter to the role of compliance director. This newly created position will oversee the company’s quality assurance and quality control functions, manage patents and trademark activity and drive regulatory affairs globally. Previously, Hunter served Anitox as the manager of regulatory affairs for the Americas and has worked in the regulatory and intellectual property fields for a number of years.

Rick Phillips, Anitox president and CEO, explains, “Loretta’s leadership is guiding Anitox and its customers through the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA). We operate in an increasingly challenging regulatory environment, where compliance is critical to both public health and corporate reputation. This new role delivers on our commitment to remain the strong, responsible partner-of-choice to the world’s largest poultry and swine producers, feed mills and ethanol producers. It also reflects the need to protect our growing body of intellectual property and patents as we invest in new product development, bringing new food safety solutions to the marketplace.”
