AB Vista has announced that Dr. Robert Van Wyhe has joined the North American technical team. Dr. Van Wyhe brings experience in the poultry sector with a recent focus in layers. His responsibility at AB Vista’s animal nutrition technology company will be to provide customers with comprehensive nutritional guidance.
Dr. Craig Wyatt, AB Vista Technical Manager, says: “Robert’s expertise in diet formulation and optimizing nutrition will help to strengthen our poultry and swine technical teams in supporting our customers. He will be a real asset to the team.”
Previously, Dr. Van Wyhe worked with a poultry genetics company handling breeder flock nutrition for U.S. and international customers, along with conducting research trials to evaluate programs. He holds a Master’s of Science in Poultry Nutrition from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Animal Science from Michigan State University. In addition, Dr. Van Wyhe has presented at scientific/technical meetings and has been invited to speak on nutritional challenges in laying hens.
“Robert will be assisting customers in all areas of poultry nutrition to ensure they’re making the most of their feed formulations, and he will be a key part of our wider technical service and advice offering,” Dr. Wyatt concludes.
