Ridley Corp. Ltd. (Ridley, Australia) has agreed to sell its 69 percent interest in North American feed manufacturer Ridley Inc. to the financial services holding company Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd. The sale, expected to be completed on 20 October 2008, was reached as a private sale between Ridley Australia and Fairfax.
