I’Anson Bros, an animal feed manufacturer, was recently presented with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation

I’Anson Bros, an animal feed manufacturer, was recently presented with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation by the Lord Lieutenant of North Yorkshire, Lord Crathorne, in a ceremony at its plant in Masham, North Yorkshire, England, where the company was founded by the great-grandfather of the present directors 108 years ago. The award is in recognition of the success by its British Horse Feeds division in developing the sugar beet horse and pony feed, Speedi-Beet, a product that is exported around the world, including to the USA, Middle East and Australia. The Queen’s Award is one of the most prestigious accolades that can be given to a British company.  They are awarded by the Queen, on the advice of the Prime Minister, assisted by an advisory committee that includes representatives of Government, industry and commerce and the trade unions.
