Bettcher Industries appoints VP of sales

Paul Kearney has joined Bettcher Industries, Inc., as vice president of Sales.

Paul Kearney has joined Bettcher Industries, Inc., as vice president of Sales. In this position, Kearney is responsible for directing the domestic and international sales activities for Bettcher’s Food Processing and Foodservice divisions plus its Gainco subsidiary. Kearney also oversees the company’s direct and company-owned presence in the four leading meat processing regions of the world – the United States, Western Europe, Brazil and China.  
 
Kearney has extensive industry background in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and related packaging equipment.  Prior to joining Bettcher, he had a 25-year career at Barry Wehmiller Company, where he held a variety of managerial positions in sales and marketing – most recently as vice president of global sales and strategy for the company’s Pneumatic Scale Angelus division. 
 
Prior to his business career, Kearney was a captain in the United States Army Chemical Corps and served in Desert Storm as a troop leader in the Army’s VII Corp. He holds bachelor degrees in chemistry and military science from the University of Massachusetts.
