Netherlands: Trouw appoints area manager for South America

Trouw Nutrition Hifeed bv of the Netherlands has announced the appointment of Karo Mikaelian as area manager for South America with effect from July 2008. He was previously with Trouw Nutrition USA as vice president in charge of international sales and market development. In his new capacity he becomes responsible for coordinating the sales, technical support and distribution network for all countries in South America, excluding Brazil. The company's plan for the first phase of its new regional marketing initiative is to focus on extending its business in Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia and Venezuela.
