As the leading charity that helps fight hunger and prevent food waste in the UK, FareShare currently provides 17.7 million meals a year to 2,290 charities and is expanding. Elanco’s commitment will enable the charity to reach even more people in need in their local communities.

Elanco UK has been supporting FareShare since 2012 and has so far donated funds for over 800,000 meals as well as providing hundreds of employee volunteer hours annually.

Lindsay Boswell, FareShare CEO, said, “Collaborating with the commercial sector is an integral part of our business model and we are very proud of our four-year partnership with Elanco. Over this period they have helped us to drive change nationally and their workforce have added real value to key regional operations. We are delighted Elanco are renewing their commitment to reducing food waste and food poverty in the UK.”

Gaynor Hillier, the UK and Ireland affiliate director for Elanco, said, “We are very excited to continue our partnership with FareShare. The FareShare vision of helping to feed the communities they serve is strongly aligned with our Elanco Cause of helping to solve the problems of hunger across the world. At Elanco, we take our social responsibility seriously and our teams are committed to working with FareShare both in a practical way during our employee days of service as well as through our ongoing sponsorship.”
