The former Vineland Kosher poultry plant in Vineland, New Jersey, and all of its equipment will be sold at an online auction to be held in March.

According to a press release issued by Heritage Zetabid Realty & Auction Services, an auction will be held online from March 1 to March 10. The bidding for the plant and all of its food processing equipment, which is fully intact, has been set at $999,999. The starting bid for the real estate alone is $699,000.

The site to be sold spans an area of 30 acres and features more than 55,000 square feet of industrial space.

Vineland Kosher Inc. ceased operations in 2010.

“With the plant’s machinery alone valued at over $500,000, this sale presents a compelling opportunity for bidders to purchase and operate a turnkey poultry processing facility at a fraction of the typical start-up costs. The real estate alone holds tremendous value, with a starting bid of less than $25,000 per acre, or $0.50 per square foot,” said Michael Davin, managing director of Heritage Zetabid Realty & Auction Services.

Buyers must register in advance to obtain due diligence information. Site tours may be arranged with 48 hours advanced notice.
