USA: CPM acquires Crown Iron Works

CPM , supplier of process equipment and technology for the animal feed and other industries, has announced the acquisition of Crown Iron Works, Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. The new portolio combines Crown Iron Works' mechanical and chemical process equipment for the oilseed industires with CPM's Roskamp Champion's knowledge in oilseed cracking, flaking, and meal processing equipment. Expanded engineering capabilities, application expertise and worldwide market coverage are benefits of the acquisition, according to company spokespersons. The transaction includes Europa Crown Limited based in Hull, England, and majority joint venture interest in Crown Friendship Engineering Company based in Wuhan, China.
