Marel makes changes in organizational structure

Marel has announced changes in its executive team, organizational structure and corporate identity.

Marel is the leading global provider of advanced processing systems and services to the poultry, meat and fish industries. With the recent acquisition of MPS meat processing system, Marel is redefining how it manages the business and serves customers.

In the company’s reorganization, Further Processing will operate as a business unit within Marel that works across all the processing groups: Marel Poultry, Marel Meat and Marel Fish. 

The MPS acquisition enhances Marel’s position in the industry and is fully in line with the company’s previously announced growth strategy. Marel has enjoyed success and growth in primary and secondary processing and now will be poised to grow in Further Processing.

Changes on Marel’s executive team

  • Remko Rosman, former CEO of MPS, is the new managing director of Marel Meat and a member of the executive team.
  • David Wilson, former managing director of Marel Meat, has been named managing director of Further Processing.
  • Petur Gudjonsson, is now the executive vice president of Commercial Function, leading regional management, product management and services. He is the former managing director of International Sales and Service, and has been with Marel
