India: CPF to build two feedmills

Thailand's Charoen Pokphand Foods Plc will spend USD 20 million to build two new feedmills in India

Thailand's Charoen Pokphand Foods Plc will spend USD 20 million to build two new feedmills in India to increase its broiler production in India by 70 percent, or about 1.2 million birds/week, as it meets the needs of its integrated broiler business in the country. The two plants will be located in Pune and Hyderabad and each will have a capacity of 10,000 tonnes per month, producing primarily broiler feeds. In January, CPF announced a USD 10 million investment in a third shrimp feedmill in India.
