Italy: 16th IFOAM Organic World Conference to kick off in June

16th IFOAM Organic World Congress takes place in June 2008 in Italy

The 16th International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM) Organic World Congress takes place June 18-20 in Modena, Italy. The meeting will focus on the IFOAM Principles of Organic Agriculture as well as innovations, cooperation among industry-related parties, regional values and indigenous knowledge. Organic federation IFOAM has called genetic engineering incompatible with organic agriculture.
