EW Nutrition South Africa can look back at successful months of market entrance and took the opportunity on AFMA forum in Sun City (01-03 of March 2016) to present the Activo® product range as a natural and innovative alternative to AGPs in feed production. The company exhibited in the trade area of the forum and sponsored a technical speech held by Mr. Robert Pottgueter analyzing “Feeding the modern, long laying hen, 2016 and beyond.”

“The growing South African market is part of the global meat business”, said Radek Nigrin as Regional Director. “We see the same tendencies like pressure on feed efficiency and the turn away from feed formulation based on AGPs like in other countries”, he continued. Secondary plant compounds in combination with an innovative micro-encapsulation technology are a potential and powerful alternative for many nutritionists to meet the market’s challenges and the mandatory to move into a more responsible usage of antibiotic substances.
