Micronutrients adds to its Ruminant Business team

Micronutrients USA, a Nutreco Company, has made six new appointments as a direct result of increasing demand for IntelliBond trace minerals.

Micronutrients USA, a Nutreco Company, has made six new appointments as a direct result of increasing demand for IntelliBond trace minerals. 

Kurt Perryman, Ph.D., has joined Micronutrients as Technical Sales Representative. Perryman will be based in Atlanta and will work with Micronutrients’ current and prospective customers to support the cost effective use of IntelliBond trace minerals in poultry, swine and aquaculture applications. He recently graduated from Auburn University Poultry Nutrition program.

Scott Fry, Ph.D., has been named Micronutrients’ Director, Technical Sales Support. He will assist Micronutrients’ technical managers with the design and coordination of assigned research projects and assist with the support of IntelliBond trace minerals with the swine and ruminant markets. Previously Fry served as a Technical Manager with Elanco Animal Health.

David Frazee has accepted the position of Ruminant Business Manager, Central Plains. Frazee will work to represent and support the application and value of IntelliBond trace minerals with the company’s customers and prospects located in Texas, Oklahoma, Southern Kansas and Missouri. Prior to joining Micronutrients, he served in various senior management roles with the J.D. Heiskell and Purina organizations.

Gerald (Jerry) Higginbotham, Ph.D., has accepted the position of Ruminant Technical Manager, West. He will be responsible for supporting the technical requirements of the ruminant business team and working with academia to identify and support trace mineral projects that are of value to the ruminant industry. Previously, Higginbotham represented and supported IntelliBond trace minerals in the western ruminant market.

Jeff Heldt, Ph.D., has accepted a new role as Ruminant Business Manager, Beef. He will manage the goal of continuing to improve support to key customers and prospects, while providing guidance on the future direction of the company’s business in the beef industry. Prior to his new assignment, Heldt was responsible for the representation and support of IntelliBond trace minerals in the High Plains market.

Brian Rittgers has recently joined Micronutrients as Director, Ruminant Business and will have responsibility for the management of Micronutrients ruminant business in North America. Prior to joining Micronutrients, Rittgers was a senior member of the Elanco organization serving in many managerial roles during his long career with the company.
