QualiTech® hires new marketing director and international sales manager

QualiTech’s AG Division has hired Altair Brondani as the new Marketing Director and Fernando Malapi as the International Sales Manager.

Altair QualitechQualiTech’s AG Division has hired Altair Brondani as the new Marketing Director and Fernando Malapi as the International Sales Manager. As Marketing Director, Altair will be responsible for developing and leading strategic marketing programs to help QualiTech’s customers succeed. He has more than 25 years of experience in the agricultural and food industries, in various marketing and R&D management roles. Most recently Altair was at Cargill, where he was the Marketing Director in their Salt business unit. Prior to his time at Cargill, he worked for Ralston Purina in Portugal and Italy.

“His strong team leadership and solid business results will assist QualiTech in supporting a growing division,” says Pedro Curry, General Manager of the AG Division at QualiTech. “His expertise in building and implementing plans and strategies that establish strong market position will allow QualiTech to serve our customers with the best service and products."

Altair holds a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Federal University of Sta. Maria, Brazil, a master’s degree in Animal Nutrition and a Ph.D. in Animal Science from Michigan State University. He is fluent in English, Portuguese, Italian and Spanish.

Fernando QualitechQualiTech would also like to welcome Fernando Malapi to the AG sales team. As International Sales Manager, Fernando will be responsible for sales management, sales forecasting, managing customer relationships and identifying new international business opportunities. He has more than 14 years of experience in the agribusiness industry in various roles in rural marketing, feed-for-food value chains, animal nutrition business strategy, business development and brand management in Latin America, Africa and Asia. Most recently he was with Cargill within their Feed & Animal Nutrition divisions.

Fernando earned a master’s degree in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University and a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and Engineering from UNALM in Lima, Peru. “He is a dedicated, results-oriented leader whose experience, ingenuity and customer-centric approach will help drive QualiTech’s success in the international market.” says Dan Gray, Senior VP Global Sales and Marketing.
