Sigma Processed Meats recalls ham products

The products were produced March 1 through June 9.

Oklahoma-based Sigma Processed Meats Inc. has recalled about 2.68 million pounds of fully cooked ham products because they contain monosodium glutamate, and it is undeclared on the label, according to a report by the United States Department of Agriculture.

The products were produced on March 1 through June 9 and dispatched to retail stores, service delis and wholesale distributors.

The problem was discovered by the company.

FSIS has not yet received any reports of illness due to consumption of these products.
