Cobb Asia presents Breeder Performance Award to Tyson Nantong

Tyson Foods, Inc.’s Nantong Complex has won the Cobb Asia Breeder Performance Award which was presented by Pelayo Casanovas, Cobb general manager of the Asia Pacific Region.

Tyson Foods, Inc.’s Nantong Complex has won the Cobb Asia Breeder Performance Award which was presented by Pelayo Casanovas, Cobb general manager of the Asia Pacific Region.

“Tyson Nantong’s achievement in breeder performance is outstanding when you compare it with Asia’s top 25% and world’s top 25% which is our Cobb standard,” he said. “We would like to congratulate the team for their great effort in exceeding this goal. Also, we’d like to learn from you more about how you achieved this excellent result, so that this can benefit other customers in the region”.

Dylan Wang, director of live production at Tyson Nantong Complex, commented: “We would like to express our gratitude towards Cobb for their technical support. Our team fine-tuned their breeder program after the visit of Cobb breeder specialist Dr Alvin Arucan, and our performance improved significantly afterwards.”

The breeder flock totaling 49,317 females was placed in the autumn of 2014 and achieved 168.2 total eggs / hen housed and 164.2 hatching eggs at 62 weeks.
