Solvay and its distributor partner Orffa expand their relationship to better serve Bicar®Z market in Denmark. Bicar®Z is the sodium bicarbonate based solution produced by Solvay for livestock breeding. This source of essential nutrients for animal nutrition has a high buffering capacity that improves the yields of livestocks.
The agreement, effective on July 1st, 2016, allows Solvay to increase Bicar® Z market penetration in
Denmark by capitalizing on Orffa’s technical and marketing competences in animal feed industry in this
area.

and its strong industrial network. The partnership with Orffa will support Solvay sales development of
Bicar®Z in North European feed market by using Orffa’s strong technical feed expertise and good

Orffa is currently distributing Bicar®Z by Solvay in Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands and Germany.
