Seven Butterball plants receive safety award

Team members at Butterball’s Carthage, Mo., processing facility recently completed more than 2 million hours worked without a lost time injury – a demonstrative milestone that highlights Butterball’s commitment to safe work performance.

Of equal significance, seven Butterball facilities, including Carthage, received the Award of Distinction during the 2016 National Safety Conference for the Poultry Industry held August 15-17. The Award of Distinction is the industry’s highest safety award category and recognizes outstanding facility safety performance scored by various measures. Butterball facilities recognized with the Award of Distinction include:

  • Mt Olive, N.C. Plant
  • Huntsville, Ark. Plant
  • Carthage, Mo. Plant
  • Ozark, Ark. Plant
  • Jonesboro, Ark. Plant
  • Raeford, N.C. Hatchery
  • Goldsboro, N.C. Hatchery
