Poultry Federation welcomes Ross Dunn

The Poultry Federation has named Ross Dunn as Business Development Director.

The Poultry Federation (TPF) has named Ross Dunn, a native Arkansan, as Business Development Director. In his new role, Dunn will lead membership development, event planning and additional projects to promote the poultry and egg industry in Arkansas, Oklahoma and Missouri. Additionally, Dunn will be a part of the Arkansas government relations team as a lobbyist for the federation.

Dunn previously served as Assistant Director of Public Affairs and Government Relations at the Arkansas Farm Bureau. Prior to leading local legislative and regulatory advocacy efforts for Arkansas’ largest membership organization, he was a special assistant at the Arkansas Attorney General’s office. Dunn’s experience in public affairs and government relations will assist the Federation in business development as well as government relations.

Marvin Childers, president of The Poultry Federation, said, “Dunn is exactly what he and the board were looking for and Dunn’s relationship with government officials will be a tremendous asset to the federation.”

Dunn received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Communications from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.

The Poultry Federation is a tristate trade association representing the poultry and egg industry in Arkansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. The federation promotes and protects the interests of the industry and provides a unified voice for governmental affairs. The Poultry Federation is based in Little Rock, Ark., and has operational offices in Jefferson City, Mo., and Oklahoma City, Okla.
