Feed Management Systems (FMS) is now managing the assets of Brilliant Alternatives, including the further development and support of add-on tools, future software initiatives, and the international distributor relationships.

Feed Management Systems has been in business since 1986. In 1999, FMS acquired most of the assets of the Brill Corporation owned by Bob Brill.  FMS then issued a distribution agreement for select international regions to Brill and his new company, Brilliant Alternatives. That agreement was in place until December 31, 2007.  In January 2008, Brilliant Alternatives transferred all of its assets to Comco Controls of Canada and FMS extended a new distribution agreement to Comco.

As Comco and FMS discussed how to best support its global customers, an agreement was reached for FMS to now manage the former Brilliant Alternatives assets and relationships.  Brill will be employed as a consultant to help transfer software development, agents and customer relationships, and provide support for products and customers on a three-year agreement. Former Brilliant Alternative employees Steve Duke and Nicholas Dale have joined FMS as solution specialists, along with a majority of the distributors and consultants around the world.

Over the last six years, FMS and Comco have had a growing relationship as both companies have become more global. Both companies grew internationally through a series of international relationships and local agents.  “We are very excited about this arrangement,” comments Willie Unger, president of Comco. “This allows us to leverage each other's strengths and drive greater value to both existing and new customers.”
