Ireland reports increase in 2008 pig production value

The value of pig production in Ireland in 2008 was EUR317 million, compared with EUR293 million in 2007.

The value of pig production in Ireland in 2008 was EUR317 million, compared with EUR293 million in 2007 and EUR321 million in 2006, reports the Central Statistics Office of Ireland. The figure for 2008 is preliminary.
