Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Federal Office of Statistics reports that 15,849 head of pigs of a total weight of 828 tonnes were slaughtered in abattoirs in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the first half of this year. These figures were respectively 24.7 per cent and 35.0 per cent lower than in the same period in 2007.
