Croatia reports second quarter slaughters

Croatia’s Central Bureau of Statistics reports that 224,042 head of pigs of 17,422 tonnes “net weight” were slaughtered in commercial slaughterhouses in Croatia in the second quarter of this year. These figures were respectively 1 percent and 2 percent higher than in the corresponding quarter in 2007.
