Zinpro welcomes Dr. Leonardo Linares

Zinpro Corporation announces Leonardo Linares, Ph.D., has joined the company’s Research and Nutritional Services (RNS) Team as poultry research nutritionist.

Zinpro Corporation announces Leonardo Linares, Ph.D., has joined the company’s Research and Nutritional Services (RNS) Team as poultry research nutritionist. In this position, Dr. Linares will help direct and coordinate research and development activities in poultry nutrition for the company. In addition, he will provide technical support for Zinpro poultry sales teams and their customers in the United States and Canada.

“Throughout his extensive career, Dr. Linares has worked in all aspects of poultry production, bringing a unique, global perspective that will be a great benefit to the RNS team,” says Thim Cheng, Ph.D., RNS non-ruminant manager – North America, Zinpro Corporation. “We are pleased to welcome Dr. Linares to Zinpro.”

Prior to joining Zinpro, Dr. Linares worked in the poultry industry for more than two decades, providing nutritional support services in numerous capacities throughout the world. He worked for a top Brazilian integrator in various segments of the poultry business and mostly recently for a highly respected global poultry breeder genetics company, providing nutritional support to broiler breeder customers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Dr. Linares earned his bachelor’s degree in animal sciences from the University of São Paulo State, Brazil, and both his doctorate and master’s degrees in animal sciences from the University of Missouri, Columbia.
