Pharmgate reorganizes management, sales teams

Pharmgate has reorganized its management and sales team after completing the integration of its new division, ProtaTek International.

Pharmgate has reorganized its management and sales team after completing the integration of its new division, ProtaTek International. The appointments have been made to better fulfill customer needs and company objectives.

Doug Rupp has been promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer. Rupp joined the company in 2012 initially leading Regulatory Affairs, and Operations since the acquisition of the Pennfield Animal Health business.

Peter Criddle, who has been with the company since its inception in 2008, has been named Chief Financial Officer.

Edward Seed has assumed the function of VP Global Marketing and International Sales. He will focus on global product strategies and expanding the business internationally.

Chad Howser has been promoted to the position of Executive Director of Sales for the U.S. business. All domestic sales and technical functions will report to him. Howser holds a BS degree in Marketing and after a sales career in the pharmaceutical industry, spent the last eight years in product management with ADM Alliance Nutrition.

Dr. Alexander Hintz has joined the company as a Technical Services Veterinarian for the eastern Corn Belt region. Dr. Hintz completed his BS and DVM degrees at the Universities of Minnesota and Wisconsin respectively, and comes to Pharmgate after a brief stint in practice.

Mike Mulder has been named as Account Manager for the southern Minnesota and adjacent territory. As a long-term resident of this region, Mulder has held sales positions with Zoetis, Veterinary Medical Center and several pharmaceutical companies.

These appointments will position Pharmgate well as it enters its next phase of expansion, says a company spokesperson.
