At its annual meeting, the Association of Analytical Centres Analitica (AAC Analitica) unanimously decided to admit Cherkizovo Lab as a member.

AAC Analitica, operating under the authority of the Academic Council of Analytical Chemistry, was established in 1991 to independently assess and accredit test laboratories. The Association is recognized by the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) and the Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC). AAC Analitica has over 130 members, which include Russia’s leading laboratories and academic institutions.

As a member of AAC Analitica, Cherkizovo Lab now has access to a suite of information resources only available to members, including the most up-to-date information on the accreditation system of Russia’s analytical laboratories and the latest documentation on analytical control. Cherkizovo Lab will also be able to use the AAC Analitica logo on its test certificates, website, company letterheads and promotional materials while it remains a member of AAC Analitica, which indicates Cherkizovo Lab’s adherence to strict international standards. On top of that, the accreditation will play an important role for Cherkizovo Lab’s partners when choosing which research laboratory to cooperate with.

With its membership status, Cherkizovo Lab intends to take part in the contest for Russia’s best laboratory of 2017-2018, and has been nominated for the prestigious Silver Mol Award, established by AAC in 2002.
