Cloverleaf Cold Storage appoints Bruce Meilhammer

Cloverleaf Cold Storage has announced that Bruce Meilhammer has accepted the position of Plant Manager at the company's Sanford, N.C., warehouse and meat processing facility.

Cloverleaf Cold Storage has announced that Bruce Meilhammer has accepted the position of Plant Manager at the company's Sanford, N.C., warehouse and meat processing facility. 

Meilhammer has extensive experience in food production, logistics, and warehousing, working in management roles for industry leaders such as Purdue Farms and Lineage Logistics.

After serving in the United States Army, Meilhammer graduated from Eastern Shore Community College prior to starting his career in the food processing industry.

The Cloverleaf facility in Sanford employs about 115 people in both the cold storage warehouse and at Farmers Produce, a Cloverleaf subsidiary that provides value added custom production services to the protein industry. Meilhammer will oversee all aspects of the Sanford operation.

Cloverleaf Cold Storage is a family-owned company founded in 1952. It operates 17 cold storage and four ambient temperature food grade warehouses as well as 4 Farmers Produce processing facilities in eight states. According to the IARW, an industry trade association, Cloverleaf is the eighth largest cold storage company in North America.
