Jamesway hosts its 7th Latin American Seminar

More than 125 attendees gathered at Jamesway’s 7th Latin American Seminar in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.

For the past 14 years, Jamesway has been hosting seminars in Latin America. During that time, the number of participants has grown steadily, and the trend continues. More than 125 attendees gathered at the company's Latin American Seminar in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.

Jesus Campa, Jamesway’s Senior Manager of Sales for Latin America, organized the two-day seminar in April. Presentations were made by some of the most experienced professionals in the industry such as William Killgore, Incubation Specialist for Hubbard LLC; Dr. Keith Bramwell, Associate Professor of the Department of Poultry Science, the University of Arkansas; Javier Alvarado from Aviagen, Guadalupe Pardo, Technical Manager from Cobb-Vantress; Héctor Garcia Espinosa from Merial. Topics ranged from egg storage and chick liveablity to transportation, vaccination and pathology. The discussions were informative and included the sharing of experiences between speakers and the audience.

Jim McKay, Jamesway’s Director of Americas Sales, spoke during the opening presentation. He said, “The first seminar in 2003 had only 25 participants. This one had over 125. Clearly the momentum is building. We are thrilled to be sharing this experience with such fantastic clients.”
