Farmer Automatic of America has appointed Dena Shafer as its newest sales consultant. Shafer recently graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in Agri Business Management.
She is a third-generation poultry person. Her grandfather Wayne Shafer founded Pick of The Chick Egg Farm over 50 years ago in South Bend, Ind. Upon his passing, the farm name was changed to Shafer Eggs, LLC. Dena's mother, Toni, and uncle Sid currently operate the business.
