Marel’s Curl honored by The Poultry Federation

Dwight Curl, Key Account Manager for Marel was presented with the 2017 Salesman of the Year (Plant Side) Award by The Poultry Federation (TPF) the 58th Annual Poultry Festival held June 16-17 in Rogers, Arkansas.

Dwight Curl, Key Account Manager for Marel was presented with the 2017 Salesman of the Year (Plant Side) Award by The Poultry Federation (TPF) the 58th Annual Poultry Festival held June 16-17 in Rogers, Arkansas.

Curl was born November 1969 in Marianna, Arkansas. Curl graduated high school from Lee Senior High in Marianna, AR in 1989 and went on to receive his Associates degree from Phillips County Community College in 1990. Curl began in the poultry industry at PEDCO in September 1997 as a shop manager. He was then promoted in 1999 to Territory Sales Manager for Arkansas and Missouri.

In 2007 Curl joined Marel as a territory sales manager for Arkansas, Missouri, Tennessee and Kentucky until 2017 when he was promoted to Key Account Manager, responsible for Tyson Foods, Simmons Foods, GNP Company and Jennie-O Turkey Store. Curl has been an allied member his entire career and is a big supporter of TPF.

He and his wife Amy have been married 27 years and they have a son, Seth, who is 15. The Sales Representative of the Year Award is presented annually by TPF beginning in 1970 to recognize the contributions of the association’s allied members to the poultry and egg industry. Allied industries are companies that provide products and services to the industry.
