  • Alltech’s 24th International Feed Industry Symposium will take place on 20-23 April 2008 in Lexington, Kentucky, USA. Details can be found on the company’s web site, www.alltech.com .
  • North Carolina State University is to hold International Course on Poultry Production on 12-16 May 2008 at the University in Raleigh, USA. This will be followed, on 16-17 May, by Feed Manufacturing Short Course. Registration for both courses is open from 8 January to 28 March 2008 and applications should be made to Dr Edgar Oviedo ([email protected]).   • 9th International Symposium on Avian Endocrinology will take place on 11-15 July 2008 in Leuven, Belgium. The dedicated web site is www.isae2008.be .
  • The 2008 Poultry Science Association Centennial Meeting will take place in Niagara Falls, Canada on 20-23 July 2008. A dedicated web site is building up at www.poultryscience.org/psa2008 .
  • The 1st international conference and exhibition on avian influenza and human health has been announced. BirdFlu2008 will take place in St Anne’s College of Oxford University in the UK on 11-12 September 2008. No programme has yet been published but there is plenty of information on the special web site, www.libpubmedia.co.uk/Conferences/BirdFlu2008/Home.htm   . The call has gone out for speakers, posters and sponsors.
  • IPA 2008, the World Food Process Exhibition, will take place in Paris, France on 17-20 November 2008. On show will be the latest technologies for food processing, and the focus will b eon forward planning and innovation. Details can be found on the web site, http://en.ipa-web.com .
  • The date and location of the XIX European Symposium on the Quality of Poultry Meat and XIII European Symposium on the Quality of Eggs and Egg Products have been announced. These conferences will take place on 21-25 June 2009 in Turku, Finland. Further information will be available on the web site, http://congress.utu.fi/eggmeat2009   from June 2008. 
  • Looking well ahead to 2010, European Poultry Conference (EPC 2010) will be held in Tours, France, on 23-27 August. The event will be hosted and organised by the French branch of the WPSA.
