Lamarche resigns from MHP board after 7-year tenure

Philippe Lamarche has resigned from his position as a non-executive director of Myronivsky Hlipoproduct (MHP).

Philippe Lamarche has resigned from his position as a non-executive director of Myronivsky Hlipoproduct (MHP). Lamarche has served the Ukrainian poultry company in that capacity for the past seven years.

According to a statement from the company, Lamarche cited personal reasons for his resignation from the board of directors. The search for a new director has begun.

MHP, according to the WATTAgNet Top Poultry Companies Database, holds more than 50 percent of the poultry market share in the Ukraine. Eighty percent of the company’s revenue comes from poultry. The company raises broilers, ducks and geese. It’s primary brand is Nasha Riaba.

According to recent rankings published in Poultry International, MHP ranks 27th among global broiler producers, having slaughtered 312 million head in 2016.
