Zinpro Corporation announces that Duarte Neves, Ph.D., has joined Zinpro Corporation as a research nutritionist – poultry. In this position, Dr. Neves assists the company’s Research and Nutritional Services (RNS) non-ruminant manager for North America to direct and coordinate poultry research and development activities and to provide technical services to internal and external customers.
“Duarte’s experience in designing, planning and executing poultry nutritional studies will be a great resource for our U.S. and Canadian customers as we continue to provide nutritional products to improve poultry wellness and performance,” says Thim Cheng, Ph.D., RNS non-ruminant manager – North America. “Additionally, his research and technical support experience will help to provide our customers with creative business solutions to field issues.”
Dr. Neves earned his doctoral degree in poultry science from the University of Georgia with a focus on broiler breeders and the effects amino acid supplementation and feeding regimens have on reproductive health. He also has expertise in nutrient quality analysis and enzyme supplementation in broilers. He will be based out of Athens, Georgia.
