For more than 20 years, Mountaire Farms has been working with local chambers of commerce and churches to help feed families in North Carolina at Thanksgiving and throughout the year. The annual Thanksgiving for Thousands event continues that tradition and has become a story unto itself--one that is making a positive difference in many communities.

On Saturday, November 18th from 8:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Mountaire Farms employees will be volunteering to pack the 6,000 boxes of food at the Lumber Bridge processing facility located at Highway 71 North. Mountaire employees will pack the food, along with a Mountaire chicken roaster, and organize the boxes for distribution. Five-thousand boxes will be distributed at Lumber Bridge; 1,000 boxes will be distributed in Siler City on November 21st. This is one of the great food distribution events of the year as our employees gather together to complete the packing and distribution effort that has helped so many in our community over the last 20 years.

Mountaire Farms is pleased to help others have a great Thanksgiving.
