John Coleman has been promoted to corporate retail sales manager at Sanderson Farms.
As a corporate retail sales manager, Coleman will be responsible for introducing the company to prospective customers and executing the company’s marketing plan with a unique knowledge of Sanderson Farms’ plant production capacities and Sanderson Farms’ product offerings.
Coleman is a 2011 graduate of Mississippi State University in Starkville, Mississippi, where he earned a bachelor of business administration degree in finance. He began his career with Sanderson Farms as a sales trainee in 2014.
He has served as a national sales representative at Sanderson Farms. As national sales representative, Coleman promoted sales of company products through direct communication with customers, distributors and brokers.
“John has successfully held various sales positions for the big bird side of our business,” said David Gadd, manager of retail sales for Sanderson Farms. “I am excited to have John on the retail side of sales, and I look forward to his continued success associated with his new role and responsibilities.”
