Diversified Imports now named Diversified Agriculture

Company rebranded following Plasson’s move to acquire 30 percent interest in business

Live production equipment company Diversified Imports has been renamed Diversified Agriculture, LLC, effective November 1, as the result of Plasson Ltd., a Brazilian provider of poultry and swine equipment, purchasing a 30 percent interest in the company.

Company leaders promise no interruptions in product availability or customer service, and are dedicated to maintaining the values and mission that have driven the company since its original inception in 1969.

“While the Diversified Imports name will change, the heart of our company will only grow stronger in its roots,” said Diversified President, Meir Toshav. “We have always worked collaboratively to develop products that support and enhance industry performance, and we will continue to do so as a team that is strengthened by the industry expertise of the Plasson team.”

“Diversified Agriculture will continue to help producers maximize performance and minimize costs with innovative products,” said Toshav.

In addition to serving as the North American distributor of Rotem Environmental Controls, Plasson Watering and Feeding, and the Tefen line of medicators, Diversified Agriculture sells a branded line of live production equipment including curtain and vent machines, tunnel shutters, tunnel doors, vents, bird removal technology, and breeder nests.

Diversified will continue to support all of its products with expert installation, service and parts through a large network of dealers and support staff.
