WATT Global Media to host Poultry Tech Summit

New event to connect entrepreneurs interested in future poultry operations with technology experts and financiers

WATT Global Media is pleased to announce the Poultry Tech Summit 2018, a new one-of-a-kind event supporting future growth for the poultry industry.

The summit is being produced in collaboration with Georgia Tech Research Institute, University of Georgia Poultry Science Department and U.S. Poultry & Egg Association. The event is scheduled to take place on November 5-7, 2018, at the Georgia Tech Hotel & Conference Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

“The Poultry Tech Summit fulfills an industry need which helps with continued innovation and growth,” stated Greg Watt, president and CEO, WATT Global Media. “This conference is the first of its kind to bring together researchers, entrepreneurs and poultry sector technology experts with financiers, bankers and venture capitalists to help facilitate investment in their new projects.”

The content focus will solely be on innovative technologies that are ready for future application in poultry live production, processing and supply chain. These will range from artificial intelligence, robotics, blockchain, sensors, virtual reality, vaccines and more. The conference will bring together key researchers in university and USDA-ARS labs, start-up companies, venture capitalists and innovation leaders from integrators and commercial companies to learn, discuss and network on the very latest in new technology developments.

Presenters will showcase projects in need of funding that are 3-5 years from availability in the marketplace and Poultry Tech Summit will be the first-ever platform for presenting these technologies. Conference participants will also have the opportunity to exchange ideas on the current and future technology needs of the poultry industry.

Registration is expected to open in May 2018. For more information about the 2018 Poultry Tech Summit visit, www.PoultryTechSummit.com.
