Researchers to present findings on poultry disease, quality and behavior at 2018 IPPE

At this year’s IPPE, university and government researchers will present on the outcome of their research, funded by the U.S. Poultry & Egg Association (USPOULTRY) and its Foundation, and its effect on the poultry industry.

The International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) offers attendees the latest information and research in protein and feed technology. At this year’s IPPE, university and government researchers will present on the outcome of their research, funded by the U.S. Poultry & Egg Association (USPOULTRY) and its Foundation, and its effect on the poultry industry. The research presentations will be given in the TECHTalk Theater in C-Hall, Booth C1007, from 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. on Feb. 1. The TECHTalks presentations are free to all registered IPPE attendees.

Research is a key component of USPOULTRY’s mission. Each year, USPOULTRY and the USPOULTRY Foundation allocates approximately $1 million to fund research that benefits the poultry and egg industry. Since the inception of the research program in the 1960s, USPOULTRY and the USPOULTRY Foundation have reinvested more than $30 million dollars into the industry in the form of research grants, with the International Poultry Expo, part of IPPE, as the primary source for the funding.

The research presentation schedule can be viewed below, by clicking here on the TECHTalks schedule or through the IPPE Mobile App under the “Education” search. Stay current on the information, education programs and activities planned for IPPE by downloading the IPPE Mobile App here.

IPPE is expected to attract more than 30,000 attendees and is a collaboration of three trade shows – International Feed Expo, International Poultry Expo and International Meat Expo – representing the entire chain of protein production and processing. More information about IPPE, including registration details and lodging, is available at www.ippexpo.org.
