Kemin Industries, a global nutritional ingredient manufacturer that uses science to touch 3.8 billion people every day with its products and services, has been recognized as one of the “Best Companies to Work for in Asia (Singapore Chapter) Award 2017” by HR Asia for its Kemin Asia Pacific business unit. HR Asia is one of the most authoritative and largest circulating publications for senior HR professionals.

“HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia Award” requires the best practices and inner workings of companies to be examined to identify what differentiates them from their peers. The award covered 12 markets across the region which led up to an award ceremony, followed by a report published by HR Asia.

“The participation with this award also presented the opportunity for Kemin to have an independent report driven-survey to collect insights on employees’ motivation and engagement, while also allowing Kemin to benchmark against other participating companies,” said Mr. Davis Foong, Human Resource Director of Kemin Animal Nutrition and Health, Asia Pacific.

The award was judged by an independent panel of industry experts, academics, journalists and government representatives with reference to the HR Asia Employee Input Survey™ (EIS) Report and the HR Asia Workplace and Employee Engagement Survey™ (WEES), whereby a diverse group of qualified Kemin employees had participated.

Mr. Foong commented, “It is an honor for Kemin to be acknowledged as one of the best companies to work for in Asia, and to be winners alongside the top 21 multi-international companies such as Zuellig Pharma, Motorola, Equinix, Cycle & Carriage, British American Tobacco and others. At Kemin, we strive to demonstrate that people are our greatest assets. Kemin will continue to develop, motivate and retain our employees.”
