Christopher Jensen has been named senior vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) of Elanco Animal Health, a division of Eli Lilly and Company.
Jensen began his new position on April 23 and became a member of Elanco’s Leadership Team. He will report to Elanco President Jeffrey Simmons and Josh Smiley, senior vice president of global services and CFO at Lilly.
Jensen will have responsibility for Elanco’s financial operations. According to a press release from Elanco, Jensen has a proven track record over the past 20 years in a variety of financial leadership roles. He was most recently CFO for Celanese Corporation, a $6 billion global chemical company. He also spent 13 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in audit and transaction services. Jensen holds a master's of accountancy from Brigham Young University.

Jensen’s more than 20 years of financial experience spans the spectrum. The breadth of his responsibility has included financial planning and analysis, treasury, tax, accounting, financial shared services, audit, and IT.

Jensen is working from Elanco’s headquarters in Greenfield, Indiana.
