Joyce Wood promoted to director of business operations

Joyce Wood, of The Poultry Federation (TPF), has been promoted to director of business operations for TPF. In her new position, she will manage the day to day operations, annual events and all fundraising efforts for the Federation.

Joyce Wood, of The Poultry Federation (TPF), has been promoted to director of business operations for TPF. In her new position, she will manage the day to day operations, annual events and all fundraising efforts for the Federation. 

“I am honored to be receiving this recognition and look forward to continuing my role with The Poultry Federation. I am proud to work with such dedicated people who help promote and protect all poultry interests. It is a wonderful industry to be a part of and I truly enjoy what I do. I appreciate all of the support we receive from our friends and members of the Federation and look forward to building on those relationships,” stated Wood.

Wood has been with TPF since 2005. In her most recent role she was over accounting and event planning.

“Joyce has been an integral part of TPF through the growth phases we have experienced in the last thirteen years. As our annual events continue to grow, Wood’s experience in fundraising and event management will be key to our success” said President of TPF Marvin Childers.

The Poultry Federation is a trade association representing the poultry and egg industry in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. The federation promotes and protects the interests of the industry and provides a unified voice for governmental affairs. The Poultry Federation is based in Little Rock, AR., and has operational offices in Jefferson City, MO., and Oklahoma City, OK.
