Tyson Foods names new corporate communications leader

Jennifer "JJ" Davis, a long-time communications executive in the technology industry, is joining Tyson Foods, Inc. as vice president, Corporate Communications, company officials announced May 3.

Jennifer “JJ” Davis, a long-time communications executive in the technology industry, is joining Tyson Foods, Inc. as vice president, corporate communications, company officials announced May 3. 

Davis, who has been with Dell since 2000, will lead Tyson Foods’ corporate brand and internal and external communications strategy and serve as a communications advisor to the company’s leadership team.

“JJ has a strong track record of leading proactive, integrated communication strategies, and we’re pleased to have her join our team,” said Mary Oleksiuk, executive vice president and chief human resources officer. “She’ll champion our company as an avid spokesperson of our vision and purpose and will continue to promote the corporate brand and our reputation.”

Davis has been serving as Dell’s vice president, Product & Operations Communications, managing all aspects of communications for the company’s product groups and global supply chain. She previously held leadership positions for Dell in client solutions, global operations, global brand, consumer and small and medium business communications. In addition, she founded the Dell Women’s Entrepreneur Network in 2010 to support women entrepreneurs’ success worldwide. 

Davis earned a Bachelor of Arts in communications from the University of Arkansas. She gained valuable career experience at regional and national public relations agencies, as well as with the Arkansas Office of the Governor.
