In the continued effort to increase Hamlet Protein’s commercial and technical knowledge and to further support its poultry business, the company has appointed Alfred Blanch to the position of global poultry segment manager.

Blanch is a veterinarian and holds a Ph.D. in animal nutrition from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and is a postdoc from Institut für Tierhaltung und Tierzüchtung Universität Hohenheim, Stuttgart, Germany.

With a strong background and more than 20 years of experience in the cross field between R&D, technical support, product positioning and marketing of additives and ingredients to the feed industry, Blanch has had a special focus on the poultry segment all along. During his work life in various positions as global technical consultant with Chr. Hansen and working for DSM, Blanch has a thorough understanding of the business and of the field of young animal nutrition.
