It’s an exciting year at BIO-CAT as the company celebrates its 30th year in business.
“We have come a long way since starting the business 30 years ago,” said Chris Schuler, president, and co-founder. “Our goal from the beginning was to provide high-quality enzymes and exceptional customer service making sure that our customers are taken care of and satisfied. BIO-CAT has grown from a small backyard shed to a sizeable ever-growing facility on 26 acres of land. Schuler continued, “we started with a small 20-kilogram blender and this year installed a new 2,300-kilogram blender.”
Since its founding, BIO-CAT has seen tremendous growth in its business. Thirty years ago, the company began operationg with less than a handful of people. Today, one-third of its employees have worked for the company for 10 or more years while more than half have been with the company for 5 or more years.
BIO-CAT was one of the first wholesalers of dietary enzymes in the United States. It was the forerunner in developing enzymes for use in the dietary supplement market and in developing specialized enzymes and enzyme blends to address digestive deficiencies.
Today, BIO-CAT is a fast-growing biotechnology company with best in class capabilities in powder and liquid blending and a highly talented and trained team of professionals. For 30 years, the company has dedicated its business to providing innovative support and custom formulations for every customer application.
