Diamond V recently welcomed Dr. Márcio Caparroz, who has joined the company as Manager, Market Access, Brazil.
“I am pleased to announce that Márcio has joined Diamond V,” says Francisco Portela, Poultry Business Manager, Canada & Latin America for Diamond V. “In his new role, Márcio will focus on market access and key accounts. He will help advance poultry health, poultry production, and food safety in one of the world's most important poultry markets.”
Dr. Caparroz earned his veterinary medicine degree from Paulista University in Brazil in 2002 and has continued his post-graduate education, gaining a variety of professional certifications specializing in agribusiness and marketing over the years. He began his career working for Brazilian agribusiness trade organizations before serving as manager of investor relations for JBS. Later, Dr. Caparroz served as senior manager of corporate affairs and market access for Elanco. Prior to joining Diamond V, he worked as market access director for Agri BR, a market access consulting company focusing on agribusiness.
