Safety is a huge part of the Mountaire culture, and our performance has received special recognition by national trade organizations. The National Chicken Council (NCC), National Turkey Federation (NTF), and the U.S. Poultry & Egg Association (USPOULTRY) sponsored the 2018 Joint Poultry Industry Safety Awards Program. This award is given to the companies that have the best safety performance and display a commitment to a culture of safety. Companies are selected based on achieving the highest standard of safety results for the past three years, and a successful evaluation of the effectiveness of Safety and Health programs.
